Method description:
The principle of measurements is based on the repetitive extraction of H2S and mercaptans dissolved in oil as a gaseous phase sample with further composition analysis of this vapor sample.
The heated head-space sampling and sample conditioning module prevent the sediments on the injectors’ surfaces that makes it possible to analyze a viscous paraffin oils and reduces a maintenance costs.
This method allows an automatic calibration of the instrument using a test gases. Head space oil injection provides a long lifetime and reliability of the system.
